No, i mean the chemical they are using is banned in the US, and it got banned in 2024 or 2025. All they did was rename it and they are still using it

It’s been proven that the emulsifiers in Americans peanutbutter causes heart attacks.

The only ingredients in the peanutbutter I get are salt and peanuts.

              Carboxymethylcelluose, glycerol monostearate, distilled monoglyceride.

These are found in American peanutbutter. They cause ibs, gut bacteria death, and heart disease.

They are banned in a ton of countries.

They way you know you have real peanut butter is you can see the separation of oil, and you need to mix before using.

American here: my high school used to sell lunch milk in clear hand-sized square plastic bags. We were expected to successfully pierce only one side of the bag with a pointed straw.

The technique was… learned. Some people took a while to master it.

Oh man I remember those milk bags! But I had them in elementary school, they were phased out long long before I made it to HS.

After you finished the milk, assuming you’d done so successfully (a lot of kids weren’t trusted to pierce their own), you’d inflate it and shove the straw through the other side to make a balloon on a stick!

It’s incredibly cheap at the store and it’s not like homemade is better as long as you don’t buy the doctored stuff at the store. Also, do you really expect everyone to have a dedicated grinder in their home? That is incredibly environmentally wasteful for no benefit.

You at least need a food processor or a good blender.

Peanuts themselves aren’t all that cheap. The best you could do is get cans from costco, they sell them as a loss leader.

            https://www.thekitchn.com/kirkland-signature-costco-virginia-peanuts-23604938

If you get raw peanuts to make it, you shell them, roast them, add a little of oil and salt.

This is just that product already. And their quality is already pretty high, and they have enough turnover not to be stale.

You don’t really need any recipe for canned unless you want to add some honey or sugar.
