I propose we pass a law that officially makes "he needed killin’ " a legally admissible affirmative defense. If you can prove to the jury, beyond a reasonable doubt, that someone just needed killin’, you can’t be convicted of murder.

Don’t be so sure about that, consider that raw chicken will be a good carrier for diseases. On the other hand, if those christians aren’t vaccinated they would also qualify for this.
