It’s a good idea for them to say this. It’s “cover your ass” language. They aren’t responsible if you decide to harass someone. They explicitly told users not to.
While it’s a nice thought, I prefer to have my BT disabled so I’m not being scanned by nearby APs or other networks tracking me too. It’s kind of a catch 22.
I tried this a couple of months ago. The app will not stay running in the background on Android.
Not running, not scanning.
I’m amused by all the “don’t harass people!” disclaimers.
