Guess what? The locking ring started snapping on loads of them. The part is under loads of pressure so it needs to be build to spec. The Chinese factory was trying to save money by remelting the leftover plastic into the parts. Weakening the part.

Omega issued a recall. Set a policy to stop cutting that corner. Basically fixed the issue.
