It does have wifi connectivity and even has its own SIM card. Apparently it’s a connection speed thing. Sucks, I hoped it’s a software problem with a solution :(
SIM card just means that the infotainment system can act as a wifi hotspot, it’s to get you to pay for their data mining connection and pay them a subscription in exchange for whatever perceived convenience that they are offering. That doesn’t mean that it has wifi for Android Auto or Carplay. That’s just one reason that many manufacturers are removing Android Auto and Carplay for their own versions.
