I guess this sub doesn’t want to smell as bad as the rest of the “international subs” that are flooded with US crap.

It’s up to Lemmy to safeguard that, not the OP.
Reddit changes the stuff to
[]or something like that.
In Europe you own almost all of the data you post online.

Programming@programming.dev•What's the weirdest bug in a program you found in a project you didn't write?English
3·3 days agoOh I see. That’s very random, lol. It’s completely backwards.
Maybe this Chrome view of the JSON encounters a right-to-left character?

Programming@programming.dev•What's the weirdest bug in a program you found in a project you didn't write?English
4·3 days agoThat looks unformatted and not scrambled. Last time I used Chromium it didn’t come with a JSON formatter so I had to install an extension for it.

I played it on Stadia because I was just checking out the service and it was on the main page. I ended up completing it in 6 hours.

Technology@lemmy.world•ublock Origin can get rid of Cookie BannersEnglish
56·5 days agoI hope, EU legislation will force websites to accept a global “Auto-decline”/“Minimum-possible” configurable in the web browser, in which case no banner can be shown. IMO, that’s how it should have always been.
The banner is a stupid solution. Tracking and ad profiles should be completely banned instead.

6·13 days agoOh I didn’t even think of this. There are so many companies that could get into trouble because of this, and they will all get mad at the AI bullshitters.

Programming@programming.dev•Nobody knows how large software products workEnglish
16·14 days agoThis is why modularity in software is so good. You separate parts of the software and only interact with the abstraction. This way you don’t have to fully understand the inner workings of every component.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Any RPGs that take into account when you reload a save? Or that break the 4th wall like this?English
14·14 days agoThis gimmick instantly reminds me of The Stanley Parable. It isn’t really related to saving and loading but it does “reset” you all the time. I find it an absolute gem of a game.
