I use a 40% unibody split keyboard. I have a Corne, but I suspect the microcontrollers going out so I need to replace those or check my soldering job. Since I switched to columnar stagger I get a little disoriented when I try to use a more “normie” keyboard lol. Still use QWERTY tho

I use blank keycaps, so looking is more to check hand placement or if I need to count my keys to search for a symbol

I may do a bit of a show and tell when I get to my desk :3c

This might be an outlier as far as how other people might watch or react to this movie but I rewatched Millennium Actress recently and I could not stop crying the whole movie.

It’s gives me feelings of deep desperation, chasing, longing, almost persevering.

Lots of Ghibli mentioned, Kiki’s Delivery Service is a favorite of mine. :) Not sure how much it fits ‘grandiose’ and ‘profound’, but I’m definitely a sob-fest by the end.

I did one cycle of it, but now I’m too burnt out and despaired and in need of medical care to think of going back to any form of employment and I’m really lucky that I dont have to worry about it too much

Thats a pretty good idea /gen I should go more often, the walk to the goodwill closest to me has historically been a big struggle for me, but the most recent time wasn’t so bad. Might’ve been the weather, or maybe my body’s healing from mystery ailments (eg. long covid)

Self Indulgent Roku TV Vent/Rant that maybe isn’t the most fitting to reply on this specific comment but I’m getting it out of my system:

I can’t do this because the remote for my TV broke and the on-TV controls are very limited so we use an APP for some things. My phone for some reason cant connect to the TV with the app either so if I want the volume adjusted my options are to either ask my partner or use my RP5 🤡 It’s a very unfavorable situation, I want so badly to get a new tv to get away from Roku. Can’t block Roku phoning home either because no DNS settings on the TV and we weren’t getting the full speed with our own router so we use the ISP provided one now which doesn’t let us mess with that. We don’t event watch anything on the actual TV (application), its hooked up to a mini PC that does the work.

We can just buy a remote so we can set the TV offline but we don’t like this TV so getting a new remote feels like lengthing its lifespan and I’m stubborn.

I disabled updates for Blender and keep another old version for modding purposes I also refuse to update mobile discord since I heard the layout was changing. IDK what discord mobile is supposed to look like anymore, it also stopped letting me use the nitro discord themes a while ago. I’m on a version from Sept 2023 :x

Modding an unpatched V1 Switch is pretty easy, the most difficult part is there’s like 2 main guides and if you try to get support from one group and they get clue that you’ve looked at/used the other guide they’ll say your config is trash and a ban risk lol
