There is a European project that is studying this feasibility. Generally, brines are discharged into the sea, which is destructive for the environment due to their concentration.

My comment refers to overrepresentation.
It’s not a question of being visible in public, it’s just a question of proportion. Hollywood seems to need gays and lesbians in every movie now. Is it marketing to attract “minorities” ?
