theres also a critical ‘relay’ component required that so far only Bluesky runs, so not-so-federated.
there is no such thing as a 100% independent bluesky install to which people can attach also independent nodes (PDS).
you runnin your own relay or is it all ‘except the relay and appview’?
is this where we get to explain again why its not really ai?
i had this exact issue until i wiped my machine this summer and it refreshed into a full win11 after the crowdstrike debacle
i hate ms with every fiber of my being, but teams has gotten better. it used to be practically unusable. now its just mostly so
this isnt a problem, this is a feature.
yeah but its 39% bots talkin at eachother
no, they dont.
most people do not get to go into work and say ‘im not using windows, sir’ because the business has long since bent over for microsofts services
your comment reminds me of people complaing about people living in war torn countries ‘well they can just move!’
nonsense
you seem to think people have a choice. crazy
they like to pretend they have account portability, but the truth is they own the only router enabling that feature. good luck people
saw this comin a mile away. does it count as federation if you only federate with yourself?
i had to access a snowflake account the other day, it had 2 mfa challenges… one from the idp via sso, and then the local snowflake one.
100k is a single fte! peanuts!
hahahahahah does anyone really think microsoft cares? their money is in business with all the big players already deploying 11 at least in modest amounts.
nothing stopped them when windows7 was still functional and they were pushing the tpm requirement, i dont see a difference here.
and behold all of the terrible consequences!
yes. in fact, especially the person ive spent > 20 years with (volume). we have a family chat server, so we share links over that instead of me looking at her phone.
this is a peeve of mine. we all have these incredibly connected mobile communicators. we all know how to copy and paste a link. if you want me to watch something, send me a link. im happy to review on my device but damn do i hate looking at anyone elses screen.
i just wish theyd stop calling themselves a federating platform when they have yet to prove that.
