Those emoticons are ironic.

It’s inevitable because consumers don’t make it stop.

I’m so old I remember when articles contained relevant details, such as how many titles shitflix released.

shitflix
The comment was about them reinstalling cachyos 20 times, highly unlikely to happen unless they broke it at least a dozen times. Other reasons might include wanting to partition differently etc
I have installed cachyos a few times in the past just checking it out, never used it for long enough to notice any stability, update issues etc. It seemed decent enough, just nothing special, and not for me. I use an arch based distro, never had any issues that I didn’t cause myself, but there are other distros that can be a bit daft.
I am aware that gnome is a de… and a bad choice for someone coming from windows
That was the point, none of these are good choices (I omitted opensuse since I haven’t tried it recently), but what are people to do when they are often the recommendations (for whatever reason). Finding one of the decent enough choices is bound to impress, but that doesn’t = “Cachyos is the best” A lot of recommendations are not due to people finding what works for them, they are just the result of other recommendations. Ubuntu generally comes through as the most used distro as an example, so is often recommended. It isn’t good.

The only mention of a party named ‘reform’ I have previously heard of is in the uk, where reform is a far right party, the uk have multiple other parties, just as every real democracy does.
The reform party in the USA apparently doesn’t even have ballot access. You have political parties that cannot be voted for? wtaf
There are other options, but the USA is the least democratic ‘democracy’ that has ever existed. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_political_parties_in_the_United_States
Makes it sound like cachyos is easy to break, or has issues.
It is the only real way you can find which distro is best for you, but at some point you want to stop, at least for a while, an os is meant to be in the background, not the focus.
This looks a lot more like a problem with the internet and what people recommend Ubuntu Mint Zorin Fedora Gnome Arch as a new user
You walked a hard road.
I thought I was on lemmy, not on reddit, or some trashtubers channel

The lesser of two evils is still evil
The people might want to ask themselves about the illusion of choice. The duopoly never loses, it’s all a right wing con, the filthy rich are always in control.
Maybe try democracy and vote for a different party…

1 billion people… “alternate facts”
#fansblow

The other side of the duopoly would be doing the same, they both need to be removed.

The majority of entries in the Star Wars franchise are objectively trash, or very close to it, much like Star Trek. It is odd, and disappointing, how a genre with so much freedom for creativity and expression, is so uninspired and sales driven. Popularity is not quality. The original 3 Star Wars movies were something different partially because of how much effort would have been required to make them.

Exactly, just as there are plenty of zombies using meta and twitter. Didn’t anyone ever wonder why they wanted people to breed so much?

George Lucas’s integrity has been deleted by creator.

Journalism went out the window with satire. Now you just get to see which flavour of bullshit you end up with.

Finger painting with your own poo does not make you an artist.
Anyone who is pro ai in movies, or even pro Tom Hanks, should watch this, it’s incredibly bad on so many levels.
