When Terry Crews came out about his sexual assault. So many men publicly derided him. I felt so bad for Terry.
For the record, fifty cent, Vlad from VladTV, DL Hughley were those that made fun of Terry and some even insinuated he was possibly gay.

Cat was the person’s name, come on now.
I also like the absurd amount of permissions it requires. Meta couldn’t let their guard down for a moment.
To clarify, I mean Meta couldn’t be a little less data hungry in order to take marketshare from Twitter. They instantly needed access to absolutely everything at the start.
I deleted Twitter as soon as Space Karen took over.
However, my friends and so many people I follow on other platforms still link their Twitter profiles. For some there needs to be something solid to make a real and consistent migration. I was overly hopeful that Threads (yes, another evil) would have buried Twitter.
I mean, if I was gonna drown, I wouldn’t mind hooking up beforehand. Just saying.
try clearing your cookies or whatever on whatever browser and sign in page for that, I need to do that every now and again and I lose my shit every time.
Sounds similar to the SSL stuff, like for GitHub and stuff. I guess the preference in that case would be my password manager as it stores my password already.
Perhaps it’s best I pay for Bitwarden premium now and use those hardware keys people are recommending.
Also thanks!
Yeah I didn’t understand passkeys. I’m like why is my browser asking to store them? What if I’m using another browser? Why is my password manager fighting with my browser on where to store this passkey?
I felt so uneasy.
So I decided not to use passkeys for now until I understood what’s going on.
Oh no they listened, haven’t met anyone that didn’t.
I don’t think they typically want to have a convo? But I can’t say.
lol, I also stay away from asking people that look like they’ll cause me trouble. I could try being extra polite, but I have a very “I-can-whoop-this-kid”-kinda face, lol.
typically they listen and just stay on their phone afterwards
it always gets my blood pressure high after the rest of the ride though :/ and I keep replaying what I said
It takes me a while to see how enraged I get with it. I always have to wonder if I can take a punch from that person.
I once joked, “hey that’s pretty loud isn’t it?” And instead of them taking the hint, they were startled and were like, what’s going on? and I instead I just go, “excuse me, could you turn that down?” now. Direct approach is better.
I eventually want to see Megalopolis too.
I like watching art house movies and then figuring out what I don’t like about it. Even the ones everyone loves. Magnolia was one people loved and I just didn’t get.
Not really to your comment, but adjacent to it.
Here’s something that most people need to know: not all black people feel the same way about that word.
Some called me an “N-word” in a positive way and were okay with me using it around them (I wasn’t). Some only want other black people to use it. Some don’t want anybody saying it.
I just got my pro fold, I haven’t used it that much as a tablet to be honest. It is nice to do when I need it.
Did you get the Google insurance thing that’s quite pricey with it? I have a few days to get it.
I dunno, I follow some political, rap, and basketball YouTubers and they all use Twitter. I’d much rather them use Bluesky or Threads. I think Mastodon would probably be best but so far, anything’s better than Twitter.
I don’t know if I’d trust any of the text around it until we see more … the picture doesn’t seem like it matches at all.
I mean, you can downvote me but the text seems utterly ridiculous. If it’s real then you guys are right, but it certainly doesn’t seem like a believable story.
Oh I use the website on my phone. Keeps asking me to spin Some stupid wheel though.
I don’t think we could have made the progress with smoking in the US now like we did back then. Would have turned into a partisan issue about freedoms and all that.
But like, what financial benefits do they get from this? Like the country itself. I’m really bad in this area. Like, do they buy property or set up a thin business? Does that pull in enough?
Dan Olsen on Folding Ideas talked about Fortnite and a bunch of the dark patterns that they do in regular mode until you pay:

He called it “manufactured discontent”.
