we just went to that area yesterday!! its very rocky and lots of cliffs on the coast, and super super hilly and forested in the interior.

many absolutely do live there, and those municipalities marked on your map there are reasonably populated. but the terrain is not super great for building large stuff, and they really do not like deforestation either. it is also farther away from freeway I-5, where most stuff on the west coast is freighted by truck, and is more expensive, at least from our experiences.

the sunset on the coast is SO pretty though :)

tyy, the socks seem to be a favorite among the crowds. yesterday at protest, we also wore them and received no less than fourteen compliments about them. further ones are still VERY welcome though hehe :D

us testing out a fender we designed for our go-kart a couple weeks ago

the fender on the left wheel is the third iteration. the second iteration was on the right wheel but was ripped to shreds (this is why we test stuff).

uh in short it erases “the disk’s” (unsure which) file allocation table (pretty much the dos/windows version of a superblock). apparently some versions did copy it to memory and give the user a chance though!

edit: i have little experience with the religious subject at hand, and so this should be taken with a healthy share of doubt. i express my gratitude to those who respond to clarify and communicate more accurate and complete information. :)

interestingly, alcohol (ethanol) is not exactly haram. i have seen many instances (primarily from chemstores/chemical suppliers) of ethyl alcohol marked as halal! this article on some malay government website looks to provide a brief overview of the topic. they also had a more lengthy article (doi:10.24191/sl.v18i1.24338) about the subject too, and halal certification services has this (doi:10.1016/j.tifs.2016.10.018) slightly harder to read but still intriguing review.

i am by no means experienced in this subject (if you are feel free to reply!) beyond reading the labels on chemicals and using it for cleaning. in short though i think the important thing for alcohol-containing substances to be halal is that you don’t consume any with too high an ethanol concentration, either if there’s the possibility of intoxication, or poisoning (considered attempted suicide and thus haram, going by the above sources). if its high concentration stuff used for cleaning or production but not in the final product, it can be acceptable, and so can very low concentrations even when consumed (the body would have to ingest so much that it would have other issues like low sodium prior to any intoxication).

remember, sharia law is much like any other form of law: it’s riddled with complexity, opaqueness, and tons of loopholes!

uh also when i started hrt i noticed i smelled a lot different, and it varies a little based on how long its been since application. in your experience does sex hormone fluctuation like actually have a noticeable effect on this too or not really? personally i’ve never really payed attention hehe

i sometimes experience a problem myself similar in vain to this.

as much as i enjoy snuggling and affection and even more “smutty” stuff like breasts, i do not enjoy the prospect of sex. perhaps its some form of gender dysphoria, perhaps its something else, honestly not super sure. all i know is i don’t find sex appealing!! but i’m also not vehemently against it or disgusted by it. i think this article puts it really well:

with regards to nudity: the only times it actually makes me feel a little uncomfortable is when it is set in a sexual/romantic setting. if someone is at the lake with not as much as a patch of covering on them and just swimming around and having fun, i don’t mind at all. so long as its not sexualized i think nudity is perfectly okay! but, if it is brought into any romance through even just caressing the other’s hair or whatever, it puts me off a little.

again, i do like this sort of affection, i do absolutely find people attractive. i just enjoy being able to be affectionate or observe it without having to partake in/bear witness to sex!

however, a marginally decent number of people are seemingly unable to comprehend any this. quite often some people get incredibly confused no matter how much i try and explain this to them. i’ve never really been ridiculed for it thankfully, but it just does not seem to compute in some people’s heads that i am not fond of sex!!

that aside, this is thankfully one of the better places i’ve seen on the internet, and i’m glad to be here!! regardless i provide you with my best wishes when it comes to fending off the demands of the internet, and my apologies for the ramble :D

the instance i use does not have downvotes. i personally like this, as if someone disagrees with something, they must express that via their own words, which i find to be a lot more productive and useful!

my basis is, if the comment contributes meaningfully/helpfully to the subject at hand—whether that is via explanation, personal storytelling of something relevant, something funny or kind that makes other people smile/feel joy, among many others—then i elect to give an upvote.

if it is unintelligible to me (like a reference i don’t get), overly provocative, actively harmful (anti-vaccination stuff etc.) or otherwise not made in a real effort to contribute anything useful or interesting, then i elect not to give an upvote.

that is just my reasoning though :)
