Even Lenovo is doing it with Thinkpads, the t14 gen 6 has soldiered ram and only two USB A ports

Dells are reliable and high quality machines, sure they’re no Thinkpads but some of them are business quality and they’re all better then HP or Asus
$2.28 million is pocket change for the capitalists, they will learn nothing
That’s true but for the time being choices are limited (especially on the WM), yes it will be better but that could be years away (although I will admit Sway is a pretty good i3 replacement).
That’s not completely true, in Linux there are many points where old software sucks and new software isn’t ready for mass adoption. Like when everyone knew x11 was deprecated but nothing supported Wayland (to this day major WMs like cinnamon and xfce still haven’t switched over and most small wms never will). It gets better over time but there are dips in quality and Linux devs do sometimes make mistakes.

For that price you can just get a raspberry pi 5, you can stream on it but also use it as a low end Linux machine
I want antiboyotics :3

I hate both, dysphoria sucks :c
It may be very mildly damaged, shouldn’t be an issue just replace some parts
At the same time men in the past had a thicker skin then “men” today, they could (and did) crossdress while still being confident in themselves as straight men (Specifically common in the military). Today “men” will see someone wearing a pink shirt and get pissed at them for “trying to make them gay”.
It works well enough, I love my Thinkpad T440p :3
Im on fourth gen intel, tbh I feel no need to upgrade :3
You’re comparing entry level when the preformace (and price) is more comparable to the M4 Pro. I agree the entry level model cant be beaten on price but the higher model isnt a good value.
Even worse, build quality and durability is significantly worse due to Lenovo making the T and P series Thinkpads thinner and lighter.
