I’ve been telling people that my autopilot is in the best spot where it is right now. That is making sure I don’t sink so it is prioritized to making sure expenses are paid before anything else. Also, I have a quality in myself where I tighten up at times when money starts leaving the triple digits and upper double digit values. I just don’t want to spend anymore than I have.
I’m not a consoomer either, so I don’t go out buying shit because that company or this company told me to.

If I was more devoted to my saving, I could probably last a good long while. Like, maybe a couple years worth of just savings, leaving my job and just living worry free. My expenses are moderately low so it’d be stupid easy.

Whenever I think of mankind fiddling with AI, I think of AM from I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream. A supercomputer that was primarily designed for war too complex for humans. Humans designed an AI master-computer for war and fed it all of the atrocities humankind has committed from the stone age to the modern age. Then next thing you know, humanity is all but wiped out.

It is the same thing with all other media. You have to realize and accept that you simply will not ever have all of the time in the world, to enjoy every single piece that is released. When you’re gone, that wheel is going to keep turning. So you’re probably best just getting what you can when you’re able.
I listen to a lot of songs over and over because I never know when it’ll be the last time I’ll ever hear it. I explore music sometimes through others and if I just happen to get enough of a hitch to go on my own. It would be mentally taxxing for me if I had to spend every waking minute, desperately reaching for new stuff, especially if it isn’t something I’m going to like.

As well as work in a place, where I am almost always on threat of being fired for something petty because my management feels they have to have a bone to pick with me by fucking around with me and being snarky while doing it.

I will shop wherever and however at my leisure. Just because I buy something from Amazon or Wal-Mart, doesn’t automatically mean I actively support their direction in how they handle things. I am one person, I can do so much. I shop with contempt.
Why should anyone here really care? Most of us came here to escape from said problems and we don’t want said problems replicating themselves here.
