not only that, heaps of cultures associate birds with rumours and news (a little bird told me that …). I was genius marketing and top tier branding
Once I had a mission critical service crash because the disk got full, turns out there was a typo on the logrotate config and as a result the logs were not being cleaned up at all.
edit: I should add that I used the commands shared in this post to free up space and bring the service back up
That’s exactly the point I don’t get. Every single mouse I owned, I’ve replaced it because something physically broke. My previous mouse (Logi btw) was replaced because the scroll wheel and middle click stopped working, no software or firmware update would amend that!
everyday I’m thankful that Musk is not an US born citizen and cannot run for office. It’s the only thing stopping him
indeed, gaming is becoming more of an “older” people hobby mostly because kids nowadays get bombarded with micro transactions and pay to win mechanics that don’t really engage them as a target audience.
Once I attended a reto game convention and meet a kid who was like 14 or 15 who was really into retro games, mostly because those games didn’t nag them with live services and bullshit as such. It really shifted my perspective about modern AAA gaming.

that’s my 6th favourite thing about Italy
message editing is an odd one, several times I’ve edited a message and not seen the change reflected on my other devices for hours at the time. Makes me wonder if my recipient get the updated message with a massive delay as well.
Teams also sets itself to autostart with Windows, even if you choose not to, or diabale it from the startup manager, it overrides it upon next launch.
It’s the only software I’ve ever seen doing that crime against humanity.
on top of that, you can charge as much as you want
there are quite a lot of interesting brutalist buildings in the Netherlands. Betonbuurt in Amsterdam and Apenrots in The Hague come to mind
I like it quite a lot actually, bit yeah I feel it for our fellow tradies
be respectful to Ladas, they can survive a carwash
One of the main reasons I still pay for Spotify is because it is very cheap in my country, specially when splitting a family plan. However I noticed that the user experience has gone downhill over the past years.
I remember when I could seamlessly switch playback devices, from my car to my phone, to my computer and them a Chromecast almost instantaneously. Now I’m lucky if my devices recognise each other even if they are on the same network.
And if you have a poor internet connection, the app is near unusable because it tries yo grab online content first before checking whatever is downloaded. Time and time again I have to put my phone on aeroplane mode just for the main menu to load, it is so frustrating and this didn’t happen some 5-6 years ago
they still own the twitter trademark, that might be their biggest asset
