Thanks for mentioning this. I recently switched to kodi for my tv setup and it works well with plex. I wonder if jellyfin would work with it. I might try it.

Plex is pretty awesome, ngl. I always wanted to try jellyfin since paywall and all but since most people wont donate to open source to save their own lives, I really cant blame them.

The big difference is in the details.

Italians dont cook your pasta in that wheel. They throw it in there and shove it around. Its no comparison to that center console by any stretch. The countries that munch on raw fat are usually freezing cold and very rough in terms of manual labor conditions. People burn through double the amount of calories or more if they have heavy manual labor and cold climate.

I‘ve had a plex moment today… with plex.

My wife bought the app so we can listen to our music via mobile app.

I knew i was gonna visit an area with infamously bad cell reception so I wanted to download my music to my bought mobile app on my mobile device and it said „you need plex pass for this“.

I‘ll have to get rid of plex now because this kind of BS is not for me. I completely get the problem with devs being forced to do this unpaid but its no fun. I invest heavily in open source, both money and time. Having this kind of paywall really sucks.
