This comic references the movie Superman from 1978, in which Superman travels back in time. They chose to show this time travel as the earth spinning backwards and people got confused thinking that they were implying if you spin the earth backwards time would go backwards. The comic is referencing that confusion, or playing into it.

1·3 months agoI’ve actually switched, so I’m not really who you are asking, but the last hurdle was I really don’t like how it filters the movie list when you pick a letter instead of jumping to that place in the list. Anyone know how to make it work like Plex?

Okay, this has nothing to do with parents parenting their kids. It has 100% to do with the perception that the internet is dangerous and using that perception to collect information about people. That’s what they want, to put a name and face to all interpersonal interactions so they can use them for marketing and law enforcement.
I think you can play DVDs ripped into .iso in VLC. You need to remap the extension to open from whatever application you have for mounting the iso as a disk.
Oh, I’m so angry about… a reference to Gulliver’s Travels?
What do they get out of this though? Not like they are making accounts have a good reputation then selling them. And the items they are posting are similar to what other normal posters post, so it’s not like they are getting away with something.
I have been avoiding it since I saw the Death Note and Cowboy Bebop line actions, but I think I’ll give it a try. Thanks for the recommendation.
Good Lord, I tried to watch One Piece, but couldn’t get into it. Some people say it gets good around episode 60 but I didn’t have time for that.

The terminal emulator is the window displaying the text. That used to be a physical screen called a terminal. The program that decides what text to show is the shell.
