FFMPG/Linux, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, FFMPG plus Linux.
Glad people care this time, pure VPN did exactly the same thing except without the buyout. 5 years into a lifetime plan they said, “sorry, your account is closed”. They were offering 5 year plans for less when I got the lifetime one. They didn’t care and told me to complain to slashDot because that’s where I bought it.
I was 18 in 1999, there wasn’t that much actual panic. At the time people already generally knew the media was overreacting.
There was a pretty awesome shoe commercial a few minutes after midnight. It had a guy jogging down the street, presumably on Jan 1st, while in the background ATMs are spewing cash, planes are falling out of the sky, traffic lights are flashing randomly, and other chaos. Then it had a tag about new years resolutions. That commercial made it all worth it
Autocorrect “helping out”
It was actually a bit of a big deal. Luckily it got figured out with enough time to fix it before it really effected anything. They were pulling cobalt programmers out of retirement to fix old systems and auditing anything important for years before 2000.
I hate it when people act like this. You know there is a mythology in Star Wars and you know that is what people are discussing but instead you are taking a meta shit over everything. Find a better hobby.
Well, it is pretty nice …
I just got it to happen by flipping my phone back and forth
It doesn’t happen all the time. I’m currently on an Android 14 device and it seems to happen sometimes when the screen rotates to vertical. Sometimes toggling the orientation by rotating my phone sideways and back fixes it, sometimes not. It’s very inconsistent.
Navigation buttons covering the Voyager UI is an Android/Voyager bug. It has happened on my last two phones.
No, it’s pacman. Debian is apt.
I really like Debian, it’s what I use at work and for servers at home. At least until a few weeks ago when I decided to try NixOS. I’m really liking it so far and am thinking of switching over my other home servers.
It would be, making coffee step 1: open cookbook to the coffee page.
Have some directions on how to use it sitting next to the press and it could be NixOS.
The two hardest problems in programming are cache invalidation, naming things, and off by one errors.
