I lived through the late 80s and 90s in eastern europe… there were some optimistic historical moments there, i’d say a good 10-15 years. then it went (back to) to shit.

Dutchie here, nope. We are paying both principal and interest. Plus when i to it out, my mortgage was 102% of my home’s value. And as it stands, the bank owns my ass exactly until I retire 🤷♂️

Yeah immich has been on the roadmap for me for a while too… but i think NC+Memories is just good enough to make me lazy enough to neglect/delay the Immich move 🤣
I think it’s history in general, not so much a particular war, no?
I backup to Nextcloud and then use the Memories app to access them. I’ll admit that it’s not as flashy as Google Photos but actually it almost is.
