Another comment suggested that helped with LibreWolf, but that is a closer fork than Pale Moon, so not sure
That’s analogous to saying you won’t call any numbers on certain carrier
It’s possible, but your overall service is devalued if you can’t connect to a large group of people.
I get what you’re saying. But it undermines their efforts in other forums to try to fight climate change, if elites there are cashing in on carbon-heavy crypto, while everyday folks suffer from collapse of fisheries, saltwater intrusion into groundwater, etc
The existence of everyday Palauans is threatened by climate change (sea level rise, coral reef death, heightened typhoon intensity), which is being accelerated by the energy use of proof-of-work coins. Sad to see the Palauan government sell out their own people
Self-hosting and FOSS are the way to go. We saw this demonstrated when Raspberry Pi started acting stupidly as a company. There are so many alternatives that it is easy to switch. Unfortunately some things are pretty tough to self-host, like email and anonymizing VPN. But there are a lot of low-hanging fruit that makes it less painful to divest from bad companies.
Here to cheerfully crush your hopes and say he does!
On 16 October 2023, he condemned Hamas’ actions as barbaric and offered himself as a hostage in exchange for captive Israeli children held in Gaza during the 2023 Israel–Hamas war.
Pizzaballa has advocated for an end to the 2023 Israel–Hamas War and the Israeli occupation of Palestine.[17] Pizzaballa was a signatory to the “Statement on the Escalating Humanitarian Crisis in Gaza” which condemned attacks on civilians, called for de-escalation and called for humanitarian aid to enter Gaza. His statement was criticized by Israeli foreign minister Eli Cohen.[18] On his visit to Bethlehem on Christmas Eve 2023, Pizzaballa donned a Palestinian keffiyeh and expressed a desire for peace in the region.[19]

Yep, I did it earlier today. Took about half an hour to set up, download and convert 75 books and comics
Or I ask to go to Costco, and where Assistant previously would route me to the nearest one, Gemini sends me to one 80 miles away
Fortunately, at the farmers market, you can usually look up the farmer. Eg, visit once or twice just observing, seeing who gets visited by regulars, Google the farm name to look up details and reviews, etc
Many supermarkets are enshittifying/rent seeking too though
And drink verification can
Yes, this is the problem. Not much choice, and most of the corporate ones are moving to various shitty practices. Oddly enough, many of the big corporate chains are now closing locations en masse, such as Rite Aid
Some stores have started requiring the app to get your prescription. Happened to me. They actually made me install the app before they would fill my Rx. I stopped using that store and went to another neighborhood.

Yeah, the article discusses it. It was unique here, though, that everyday Subaru employees have a way to see at least a year of location history for all customers, with no restrictions
Andy Greenberg is a great security journalist and Wired is not a rag. It’s a legendary technology magazine with a lot of great coverage. Journalists deserve to get paid. The article has a lot of broader context and interviews with the security researchers, Subaru and other experts. Plus, it’s not even a hard paywall. Delete your cookies or find one of the myriad other ways to read it such as the link above. Or don’t. Your loss
I am not optimistic. Kevin Rose spent the last few years doing crypto/NFT nonsense, and is now on the AI train. Plus, link aggregators have tried to double down on AI with mixed results. See the example of Artifact, which crashed and burned just last year. There is no business model for this, and if there were, I wouldn’t trust Kevin Rose to deliver it. I say this as someone who was a massive Digg/Revision3/Diggnation fan as a teenager but grew disillusioned.
