I hate that that’s the case.
I’ve been trying to lose weight, so I chopped off my leg just below the knee. I’m several pounds down, and I didn’t have to stop eating even a calorie. It’s amazing.
The only issue is that now I don’t have a leg and exercise may be difficult….
Why stop there? Have every President, Senator, and Member of Congress investigated at all times. Whether we think they’re corrupt or not.

This is the way I do it. I still hear about everything, I just don’t need to seek it out. And I still feel very informed enough to vote.
Remember that if you’re an American citizen, you can make this happen. Never assume it’ll happen without your vote.

People are pointing out the juxtaposition of many people losing their jobs while one person spends silly amounts of money on toys. It’s not that he spent it on toys, it’s that he made so much that he was able to waste it on frivolity while others around him suffered.

Voodoo introduced zombies, but the modern zombie has diverged significantly from that concept, making them quite distinct from each other. A movie character pointing at a zombie and saying “it’s like one of those voodoo zombie things” doesn’t make much sense because the concepts are pretty different now. Additionally, more people associate Romero zombies with the word “zombie” rather than the voodoo zombie.
I can relate. I feel dead.

Shaun of the Dead is a parody of other zombie movies, and it humorously highlights the fact that other zombie movies are hesitant to utter the word “the Z word” without raising questions about its origin.
The answer is because aliens have been a topic of speculation for ages. It’s similar to vampires. Vampires have their own lore from books. Zombies don’t have that. They have other zombie movies. The only way for someone in a zombie movie to believe in zombies is if they’ve seen a movie about them or they have previously experienced a zombie outbreak.
It’s entirely plausible that individuals in a movie’s universe might contemplate the possibility of extraterrestrial life before an alien invasion.
It’s equally plausible that people have encountered the lore surrounding vampires before experiencing their first encounter.
It’s highly unlikely that people watched a zombie movie and then experienced a zombie outbreak.
That’s alright, it happens all the time. It’s not so bad….
And I say, way-hey-hey, it’s an ordinary day. And it’s all your state of mind. At the end of the day, you just have to say “it’s alright.”
It’s not the end of the world. There’s no need to run runaway.
So if people leave, he loses even more money.
So… they saved the land, not the people. It’s like cutting employee salaries to avoid a takeover from another company. Don’t worry everyone… we “saved” you.
It also ignores that taxes were actually LOWERED on tea just before the Boston Tea Party. This made it so taxed tea was cheaper than smuggled tea and people would be paying that tax without getting representation. Thus, the whole reason for fighting.
To be fair, it would be the only time I’d give that guy my vote.
