If they salute like a nazi then they are a nazi. Modeled after the German variety of fascism venerating Hitler etc. Neo-nazi would work I guess, but everything they’ve been doing is straight out of Hitler’s playbook so I feel comfortable using the term nazi.

As for projection of force, you don’t really have any to project. Any resistance would need to be very asymmetric in nature ie high value targets using guerilla methods. I think the difference between force and violence is semantic and really only serves as a euphemism. Moreover you need to create a spectacle of violence. Luigi mangione didn’t use force.

Criminal law doesn’t work on Nazis. They control the courts. Very few non violent options left I’m afraid.

That’s a raw deal. I always thought a 1-10 pain scale was a dumb Idea. Pain is pretty subjective and someone who hasn’t experienced severe pain doesn’t really have a way to understand what constitutes a 10. (I would answer differently before and after my cycling accident for example) Personally I think that setting the scale as 1-10 where breaking a leg is a 6 (or something) would be more diagnostically relevant. I trust your judgement, although what you call a 4 would probably be most people’s 8.

Believe it or not, there’s nothing saying a communist country needs to be a one party dictatorship. It would be perfectly achievable though democracy if the majority of the population actually wanted to take collective responsibility for the country and wanted people to be treated fairly. The reason communist dictatorships fail is because they are dictatorships, not because they are communist.

Lemmy.ml and hexbear are not marxist. They are fascists cosplaying as soviet communists. Many people don’t make that distinction though.
