Pouring gas over everything and lighting it by tossing a lit cigarette into the puddle. It does not work that way.

To be fair a lot of wells didn’t/don’t have good water either but we were not very good at testing or noticing that kind of thing until people started dropping.
You’re correct, but I just want to point out that it isn’t advisable to drink or cook with water that comes from your hot water tank. Hot water can (and usually will) corrode metal parts from your tank and plumbing and can be contaminated by all sorts of nasty stuff that won’t go away even if you boil the water first.

If you look it up on youtube, you can see for yourself the insane amount of crap that builds up inside a hot water tank over time. https://youtu.be/kAzKts6Wp1Q?si=UMPzHcIoSRdSgJ4g&t=88
In my case it’s because the last several owners of this house were idiots that cheaped out on everything and thought they knew better than the professionals do… my plumbing is a wonderful variety of crap soldered to different crap that I think was partially salvaged from the Titanic or something.
And since I’m renting, I have no ambition to rip anything out and fix it properly unless it breaks.
That’s my kitchen sink. Takes forever to get hot water but the bathroom (Which is further from the tank) takes half the time.
The joys of an old house.
Is that the legendary pee tape?
You can do that with the 9 volt batteries and feel how much “tingle” they have, but never heard of it working with aa batteries. Wouldn’t he have to stick the whole thing in his mouth to complete the circuit?
Have they tried turning their government off and on again?
“Oh, and by the way would you mind corkscrewing grampa over there?”
First civilian
In 1984, President Ronald Reagan announced the Teacher in Space Project, and McAuliffe learned about NASA’s efforts to find their first civilian, an educator, to fly into space.[20] NASA wanted to find an “ordinary person,” a gifted teacher who could communicate with students while in orbit.[6][15] McAuliffe became one of more than 11,000 applicants.[ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christa_McAuliffe
In my circle of friends when I was younger it was Monty Python. I love their stuff especially the movies, but a lot of my “group” didn’t seem to get it.
I have different friends now.
Tbh so am I. Bought it used in the early 90’s and only ever replaced the lightbulb in it once. At this rate it’s probably going to outlive me.
I figured lol. Mind you this one isn’t all that loud when it runs… mainly just fan noise that drowns out the hum unless the rotating plate starts squeeking and sings the song of its people.
I much prefer that over the old sound… always sounded like a 3 ton truck was backing up in the kitchen when it went off.
The timer display. Although if you listen really closely you can still hear it try to beep, but you have to be standing right next to it in a quiet room.
The beeper on my 41 yr old Microwave died a few years back during a thunderstorm. It was like a dream come true.
The Pinto wasn’t all that bad… after the first couple years when they moved the fuel tank and made them a little less explody they were kind of fun little cars. Mine only caught fire on me twice.
It USED to be a decent source for news and updates on stuff but that’s long gone. I deleted my account just before that weird billionaire guy bought it and don’t regret it one bit.
