Dear God, they used a punch card like it was just another day on the job? I hope they didn’t make the “prisoners” do it. I don’t know why this is so chilling but something about having to count yourself like an object makes me feel sick.

I know I’m way over simplifying but starvation was one of many cruelties inflicted on victims during the holocaust. I don’t understand why Nazis would want to count people they intended to murder, but I think it’s important to try to understand as much as we can so we don’t let it happen again. Which is why I asked.
Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but why would they even need a machine to count the prisoners? If they didn’t feed their victims and were planning to murder them anyways I’m having trouble understanding why they wouldn’t be okay with just a loose head count. Was it really just for counting?
I hope I’m not coming across as insensitive, I’ve just never heard about this and it sounds so ominous.

This is what happens when you systematically dismantle the public education system.
Sure I guess but you can also just leave it at home.
Still not worth the risk to download it. Get a paper journal, they make ones that guide you through tracking all the necessary data.
The fast forward and rewind options on my car stereo are both touch only, and they rarely (if ever) work. I like everything else about my car, which thankfully didn’t do away with too many buttons and mostly uses the touchscreen for the backup camera and stereo. But those two functions specifically being part of the touchscreen makes no sense and drives me crazy.
Gotcha, thanks for answering!
I was born and raised in the states and I’ve never experienced this. There’s usually beer or wine for the adults who want it at every gathering. The one exception is maybe baptisms but only because the reception is usually in the church hall. Maybe it’s a southern thing? I’ve never been to the south and they do have some weirdly puritan social beliefs.
Just curious, I left all my tech savvy in 2008. How is blocking Twitter any different from just not using it?
… considers? Just do it. Jesus.
