2·5 days agoThank you for the comment!
I won’t lie, when you said something about SELinux it reminded me of my horrible time with AppArmor the first time I installed openSUSE Tumbleweed. I think you may be on to something here with this SELinux thought. I think it is possible, but my memory is not always reliable, so I will ask for posterity sake, can AppArmor/SELinux not be installed on my openSUSE Tumbleweed? If I could do that, without any major drawbacks, I would just reinstall Tumbleweed and call it a day, as I do like mostly everything else about Tumbleweed. :-]
Hi, I just recently made a post and it was about Crimson Desert and me searching for a distro that doesn’t need any extra hassle for the game to get going. I currently use openSUSE Tumbleweed, but moved back over to my Windows SSD to be able to play the game.
My question is: What distro are you using and is it an AMD or NVIDIA card? :-]

3·5 days agoI figured it was. I also tried out the newest GE-Proton (10-33 I think?) and it also wouldn’t start the game so I gave up and went back to Windows for now.
When other newer games came out like Esoteric Ebb or the Oblivion remaster/remake, it played just fine on openSUSE. It’s just one of those pain points that will generally never go away I suppose? :-[

2·5 days agoAs far as I can tell, it doesn’t. The game is Crimson Desert, which is a singleplayer only game. :-/

15·1 month agoThat game was the best pirate game that nobody asked for, and it was a freaking Assassin’s Creed game! xD
It’s strange to see how some people took this completely the opposite way than I did.
To me, it just shows that even when we’re at our lowest, a little bit of encouragement and a reminder on how much you mean to them can really drag you back from those dark depths.
People being nice to you is not always an ulterior motive.

116·1 month agoReminds me on how they had a single person (I think?) doing Batman’s cape for the Arkham games. That was their position, the person who makes the cape seem like a real piece of cloth.
I still think about how good the cape looked when flowing or in movement. They did an amazing job either way!
Yeah, if anything, it should remind people that others aren’t as fortunate as us, and not only be thankful for our luck, but to try and make the world better day by day for everyone. That’s how I see it anyway.

One thing I dislike about Linux for real is that some people are saying it boots up just fine out of box, and others (like myself) can’t even get it to run at all. Ugh. Thank you for your comment though!
