I took the tram to go to school for 10 years and have maybe a handful of weird incidents to show for it. This is an issue with the culture surrounding public transit. If it gets seen as the mode of transportation which only gets used by those icky poor people and weirdoes it is no wonder that the weirdoes are overrepresented, especially in the US where the only place with a tram system of note is NYC which already has a high amount of weird people living in it, even if only due to the huge number of people living there to begin with.

Similar to how you can get banned off Reddit for upvoting ‘harmful’ content you can get banned or shadowbanned for using ‘bad’ words on Instagram. Yeah, but it is way worse in men with the way they are socialized. Men are taught to not show emotions which results in them being worse at regulating emotions and not talking about issues with their peers since that would be seen as emasculating.

Women on the other hand are taught to discuss their emotions with their peers and to help others with that as well. And now that women are not required to be in a relationship with a man to be able to thrive in society, many men lose out on their only emotional caretaker and turn to chat bots.
