everything that isn’t my main machine runs linux. my old laptop from 10 years ago, a PC made of my old rig’s parts i use as a NAS and jellyfin server, and i almost got my brother to install linux on his thinkpad.

and i know a lot of people who don’t care what operating system they run as long as they can use their web browser on it.

recently reinstalled win10 pro, located in europe using a local account.

haven’t seen any yet.

FP4 user here. while that is true, any android ROM with google services on it isn’t privacy-focused.

but i don’t want to miss out on clash of clans, so here i am using their bullshit spyware.

i have reverted to this lifestyle, and i love it. creating the 5-6 accounts for local platforms was a slight hassle, but now i can enjoy the benefits of a “small” company which still cares about what the customer thinks.

and the naming scheme doesn’t make it any better, “USB 3.2 Gen 3 with USB PD and/or CuickCharge” just doesn’t make sense to rationally thinking people.

how about “USB C-C up to X amount of mbytes and 100W charging”?

Plus you can use pretty much any plugin on mobile. this is the biggest feature for me.

that’s always the problem with android based stuff. good software is the one thing they can’t do.
