I am so sick of him. I wish we could just collectively move on.

Is there a ‘chores cat’?
Getting a dog to like you is easy, but a cat…a cat you have to earn their affection.
Yeah me and my sweet toothless bob tail boy would lay on the floor in the living room and he would roll over on his back for belly pets while my wife and I watched TV. He was the sweetest boy to our other cat too.
Does such a bad job yet I’m sure leaves with a golden parachute worth more than I’ll make in my lifetime.
So as someone who has never played LoL or any MoBA (or is it a DOTA?), can someone give me a run-down? Just generally toxic behavior?

Klanky@sopuli.xyztoMicroblog Memes@lemmy.world•That is actually a good question. Smoothly ignoring age or being polite?English9·11 months agoIf I remember correctly, the English ‘thou’ used to be the informal/singular as opposed to formal ‘you’. Also that a lot of Indo-European languages informal pronoun starts with t- because of the same root word: ‘thou’, ‘tu’, the Russian version (I don’t have a Cyrillic keyboard on my phone but it sounds a little like ‘tuh-ee’.
I’m sure a linguist on here can correct me on this if necessary!

We just watched it last year and I can’t believe I missed it the first go round. We were blown away.
That whole arc made me sad.

One lawmaker says it's 'here to stay.'English1·2 years agoThis. I’ve been at my job for a year as a remote out of state employee. All of the sudden, they decided we needed weekly team meetings and virtual team building when we had none before. My job is not collaborative, everyone on the team has a different role and most things can be handled over email/teams. I like my coworkers, but we’ve been working great together without all this crap. Even my manager doesn’t like it but it’s being forced on her from higher up, half the time she doesn’t have anything to share at the team meeting that couldn’t have been a one sentence email.
Edit to add: oh and these weekly team meetings have cameras on required, when before any of the few meetings we had never required this. Seems like one of the higher up read some article about ‘building virtual teams’ and went to town without actually stopping to think whether it fits.
I feel this in my bones
