I think there has always been funny and unfunny shows, just like there has always been music you will like and music you won’t like. Sometimes your sensibilities line up with cultural zeitgeist and other times you have to dig a little harder to find it. 🤷♂️ Don’t be that boomer being like ‘back in my day we had REAL music/comedy/whatever’

I served on Grand Jury in NY state. 2 days a week for 8 weeks, listened to the evidence and decided if there was enough to charge/not charge. Really interesting experience.
Worrying that my ADHD 8 yr old won’t have any friends that aren’t relatives because he is so weird with other kids and they lose patience with him.
That’s a name I haven’t heard for a long time…

Our house was built in 1930 and sits directly across the street from what used to be the farmhouse that owned all the land. Our backyard slopes down to another road. Anytime we dig we find old trash. Our backyard must have been the dump of the farm.

I think I’m pretty rare on Lemmy: I use Windows on my PC (although I’ve dabbled in Linux) and I don’t work in a tech field at all.
