For me, it wasn’t a movie, but a song. The Winner by Bobby Bare felt like it re-wired my brain. I was never too afraid to tussle, always open to it. I used to work pathology. One day, we received 2 testicles from the OR, both from young men younger than me. The first one was removed with the listed reason being torsion. It got twisted. Makes sense. Heard of that. The other one was removed for a reason I didn’t really think possible. The poor guy FRACTURED his testicle. I can only imagine the pain he was going through.
