You sound like you’re either in your late 50’s and/or haven’t made your health a priority.

This isn’t my experience and I’m almost 40.

Not OP, but it’s learned discipline plus I can pretend I’m better than my way-too-many-tabs-open, loser co-workers.

Although i hate hearing about him, i do like seeing his face and body rapidly deteriorating.

Agreed. I vote and attempt political discourse but it’s hard to take action these days.

That’s the crux of social media. Connects like-minded people yet neuters their effectiveness because they think engagement does something in the real world.
