Excel is a dev environment for us folks who aren’t 100% sure what a dev environment actually is.

I’ve at least evolved to the point that I know better options exist, and higher ups should talk to the people who know what those options are and how they can leveraged. Those people are busy, though, so the cycle continues…

So I like where you’re going with this, and it’s the kind of thing that’s been bubbling in my brain for a bit now, but question: I’ve been to a few soup kitchens in different areas of my own country. Never once have I witnessed or heard of anyone having to renounce anything to get served. You show up, you get fed - there’s Jesus freaks in the wings who may use the opportunity to try and convert you, sure, but if you walk away from them it doesn’t mean they take your plate.

Do you have any specific examples you can point to where this isn’t the case? If nothing else, helps name and shame.

Depends on the kink. Leather, whips, and paddles? Always been at least a little cool. Electroplay? Very cool.

Diaper play? To each their own, but not cool.

Two choices:

1. Medical mask and sunglasses (preferably those boxy ones people wear over regular glasses). Few people question medical masks these days.
2. Embrace the lunacy, and wear whatever mask/facial covering you think is cool/funny. Life’s short and a lot of people would do well to embrace harmless weirdness.

I’d ask how you define evil in this case. To me, an act is evil when the net detriment to the planet and its contents (including humans) is greater than the net benefit it creates, and the actor pursues said act knowing this. I’d argue it scales with the nature and context of the act. It’s hard to say this isn’t real. But yes, we all have the capacity for evil, and also can be complicit in other evils by dint of normalized behaviours (without necessarily being ‘evil’ ourselves)

I do agree that an absolute Evil doesn’t exist, the same way an absolute Good doesn’t exist. But we’re a pile of writhing meat puppets on a moist, moldy rock - we don’t exist on that level in the first place.

I have no idea why there’s downvotes on this. Whether it’s for a day trip or two weeks, ideally I’m bringing a single backpack, and I’m always a little miffed if that’s not possible.

Particularly if I’m going somewhere urban, I go to a laundromat one morning, grab a coffee from nearby, make some small talk with the locals or just chill waiting. It’s a nice break before going on with the rest of your day.
