Fedora KDE here.
Slackware.
Yes this is my dog Planetary Annihilator, or Anni for short.
Hey it’s not nice to call Flo an animal!
Also I’ve never heard anyone say that, cottonelle, puffs, charmin, coke, WWF, Camel, 9lives, and those are just off the top of my head, we have plenty.
Edit: OH, “Anime” lol I can’t read. Not sure Flo counts as anime though, and tbf we don’t have many anime (if we’re talking about Japanese style animation) mascots, but the Brawny lumberjack and Mr. Clean are animated as are many other things.
I assume so, it’s their typical MO and thus: The Joke™.
They have services that claim to, but tbf I don’t use apple products and I block ads like I’m spraying for roaches, so I’m just taking apple at their word.
Here’s a screencap from the TLDR of their terms of service I posted a link to, says right here “This service may use your personal information for marketing purposes” so…
Android. It might be a shock, but it’s great once you get used to it. I completely degoogled and went with apps that don’t spy, which was the hardest part, but you could set up a separate user profile for spyware stuff like snapchat or whatever. It might be beneficial to go ahead and get one, flash it, and use it with wifi or a prepaid sim for a bit while you still have your regular phone as a backup/main if you’re worried about the transition.
For sure I’m just joking about apple’s habit of taking a feature that has been around for YEARS and claiming they “innovated” it, usually after they strip it down a little no less (like in this case where it appears to be a setting users can’t access, but Graphene lets you turn it on/off or adjust the time between lock and reset.)
No it’s нет.
On a pixel 8 running graphene right now, I love it.
Pssst, apple collects your personal data, and like google they “don’t sell it,” instead they use it to build profiles on their users and then go to ad agencies and say “Ok give us money and we’ll serve your ad to X demographic.”
GrapheneOS been had this feature, don’t let apple tell you they invented it.
Musta been while you were kissing me.
Edit:
Oh you took the words right out of my mouth,
And I swear it’s true I was just about to say I love you,
Looove youuu!
Math anxiety is real tbf, I can add that up real fast without the pressure of someone looking at me waiting for me to solve it, but the second another person is watching I can’t even think about the math I just obsess about how I should be solving it faster and how they now think I’m dumb because instead of doing the math I’m thinking about this bullshit and it’s taken 10 whole seconds which is a lot longer than it sounds…
I mean, alright if you insist! Sounds like a fun date idea.
“C’mere Susan, let’s roll up and then roll over in the clover.”
Good. I don’t trust them dern robuts.
I was here 2y before the exodus, it’s absolutely not just the newbies. Maybe some other -ies…
I for one welcome the shit out of the newbies, I’m thankful to have them and want more, and for them to bring their niche interests with them. They help filter some of the toxicity out.
Antix will run on old grey boxes with mb of ram, it oughta work for you too.
RIP your inbox lol. Like others have said though whatever you choose test it out booting off a USB first, fwiw I’d vote try FedoraKDE, but more importantly I’ll add this:
Whatever you choose it will be different and it will be an adjustment in some capacity, and that’s ok! And don’t be scared of the terminal, always keep back ups just in case but you really can’t fuck up tooooo bad unless you’re using sudo and then just be real careful. Watch a few youtube videos on something like “linux terminal basics” or “bash basics” and follow along like you’re taking a class, it’ll really help you get familiar with it. It’s a great thing to know how to use, these days if I know how to do it through the terminal I usually will instead of puttering through a gui honestly.
