Look at the pics YOU JUST POSTED. They’re not hard-bodied athletes, like the Olympians you find on the track team, the swimming team, the boxers, the gymnasts, etc. That’s a fact. It’s the truth.
And that’s why the meme works.
Their sport is simply different. You can achieve high levels of proficiency in shooting sports, without having a freakishly muscular body.
There’s nothing wrong with that. I’m just pointing out that the shooting team does indeed look like a bunch of regular-ass people, standing next to the other athletes.
EDIT: The Winter Olympics version of this meme is the curling team. They are also regular-ass dudes. And that’s also fine.
