I know this is gonna slip out of my mouth at the worst possible time in the future.

I stole a phrase from a previous coworker that I have since used in place of “You know what I’m saying?” Or “Picking up what you’re putting down.”

Now I like to say to people “Do you smell what I’m stepping in?”

I found it hilarious at the time and shamelessly stole the phrase lol
