Nvidia, AMD and the AI companies may pass debt around, but TSMC is being paid money for their services. RAM and NAND companies, too, made record profits last year. They’re expanding, but conservatively.

If the economy crashes, there’s a chance the chip fabs go under, especially if they’re holding the trillions in debt hot potato.
Eh, they’re sitting on tons of cash. Nvidia, AMD and the AI companies may pass debt around, but TSMC is being paid money for their services. RAM and NAND companies, too, made record profits last year.
They’re expanding, but conservatively.
