Tortoises are slow. Turtles can be surprisingly fast.

I’ve always been torn on this choice. The baby doesn’t have any history, and frankly, you can always make another. But on the other hand the old lady has already lived most all of her life (well all of her life depending on this decision). I mean there isn’t a good answer unless you try to go for a two’fer
Did you read this on a bus and start masturbating uncontrollably?
I wonder if part of this attack is pre-emptive by Bibi before his government get dissolved. Lock them in a war so they can’t do that to him.
ramble81@lemmy.zipto memes@lemmy.world•I'm here to polish balls and kill chaos... and I'm all out of chaos!4·4 days ago- 13 had a good story, but mind numbingly linear
- 13-2 is in my top 3 favorite FF games. Secret endings, multiple paths to take, continues the good story of 13
- 13-3 random fun curb stomping but a giant fetch quest
- 14 didn’t play
- 15 didnt think I’d like it (a final fantasy with cars and cell phones?!) but man it grew on me and has one of the best villains in an FF game ever
- 16 is so not a FF game. The barely put any references in to other FF games until the DLC which is only available end game. Still an okay game and man they break the f-bomb counter. Also “sex? In my Final Fantasy?” Yes
ramble81@lemmy.zipto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•When and why did the US switch to these voting machines that are the subject of ongoing lawsuits and reports of unlawful "updates"?3·4 days agoI’ve honestly liked the systems we have in our county. They’re a digital system but you feed in a straight sheet and it reads your district. From there you select on a touch screen all of your selections and then print it out. You have a chance to review the ballot at that point to make sure everything is printed out right. You then slide it into another scanner which counts the votes and drops the ballot into a secured box, that way should they need to audit things you have a paper trail too.
I’m just thinking that won’t work past the 30th as it’ll try to take you to a non-existent server
The bad actors probably will move. But the problem is 99% of instance admins are volunteers and do it because they want to. It’s much harder to deal with that shit when it’s a labor of love and you’re not getting paid.
Most were “shown the door” as you mentioned but like spam, it’s a tsunami that’s hard to deal with on a large scale.
Does anyone know how I could save off any of my comments or posts? I know that they’ll still be accessible from other instance they federated to, but it’d be hard to search them all out.
I bounced over to Lemmy.zip

Depends on if it a clone and you’re into necrophilia.
ramble81@lemmy.zipto No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•How do you charge an electric car without a credit card?5·7 days agoThat’s what I do and never had to use a public charger, however there are a lot of people who live in apartments with out garages or driveways and lack access to an electrical outlet.
Though at that point you should start petitioning the property management to install some common ones.
And it doesn’t help when everything is named “chome”
For now if you use Voyager, you’ll need to stick with Lemmy. But since it’s all federated it doesn’t much matter.
